Foundation Stage
Mrs Shepherd and Miss Ronja
Our foundation stage children follow a curriculum based on the seven areas of learning and the early learning goals as set out in the new non-statutory document 'Early adopter schools: framework for the early years foundation stage'.
Play is valued as an important part of the curriculum.
Learning must be active.
Our learning environment promotes a love of life-long learning, a curiosity and a deep respect for the world we live in, inspired by the philosophy of Maria Montessori and the Curiosity Approach.
"A child's play is his work." Tina Bruce
Home Learning
Foundation Stage have been busy with their home learning. All of the children are working very hard. We are so proud of their achievements!
